SHOULD I BE SCARED RIGHT NOW FLUTTERGUY?

Seriously, I don’t know. I don’t think I should, but we could have differing opinions on the matter.

AND YOU PASSED.

WHAT did you do to my house?!?!

I just love the reaction from the other tumblr.

Steampunky goodness.

I have been listening to both of them today - and I wish I could afford their printed works but I have 2 steampunk books/Audiobook series to give you today.

Fables of the Flying City (link). By Jared Axelrod a awesome steampunk graphic novel about newsprint, secrets and lies all about the Fabled flying city of Amperstam. He is currently in the middle of the second Audiobook book which are both set before the Graphic Novel (The Battle of Blood and Ink). He has said it is written out as a 9 book trilogy and when I have money I will be supporting him by buying it and putting it on my small shelf of Graphic Novels and Comic books. (It will likely be right next to my first volume of Alpha Shade. A bi-dimensional war story involving Biplanes and psychic cats.)

If the above hasn’t confinced you to check out his work do one thing - Go To the steampunk article on wikipedia. See that handsome guy kneeling down in that picture - THAT IS JARED AXELROD.

Second thing - I am mainly putting it second because of the order I listened to them today is The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences. (Link). The way I have heard Tee Morris describe this best is - Think the 1960s Emma Peel Avenger - now set it in steampunk Victorian England. Their podcast is interesting - The main characters jobs at the ministry (when they are not on book length adventures) are going through the archives and categorising them - because of this the podcasts are different Agents adventures - all around the world expanding on the mythos of the empire.
